Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED

Class Price:	$85.00

The Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course teaches child-care providers and others to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. The course covers:

first aid basics, including:

• finding the problem
• stopping bleeding
• bandaging
• relieving choking
• using an Epinephrine pen

• child CPR AED
• infant CPR

Options include:

• asthma-care training for child-care providers
• adult CPR AED

The Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course is intended for people who regularly come in contact with infants and children, including:

• child-care/day-care providers
• parents and grandparents
• nannies and babysitters
• teachers and other educators
• anyone else with the responsibility to care for children

Course length varies depending on needs and the modules taught, with skills practice and testing by an American Heart Association Instructor during the course.

FOR OFFSITE: IF THE SCHEDULED/REGISTERED AMOUNT OF PEOPLE ARE NOT IN CLASS, A  NO SHOW FEE/RESCHEDULE FEE OF $25 WILL BE COLLECTED PER NO SHOW OR RESCHEDULE PRIOR TO START OF CLASS.  MINIMUM OF 5 PEOPLE REQUIRED. LESS THAN 5 PEOPLE WILL INQUIRE A $25 FEE PER PERSON REGISTERED AND NOT PRESENT FOR CLASS PRIOR TO START OF CLASS.
