The Amercian Heart Association - BLS for Healthcare Providers course is designed to provide a wide variety of certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed, healthcare professionals with the skills to keep people alive until they can be brought to a hospital or be treated with more advanced lifesaving measures.

The BLS course covers:

• adult and pediatric CPR

• two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask

• foreign-body airway obstruction (conscious and unconscious)

• automated external defibrillation (includes child AED update)

• special resuscitation situations

• other cardiopulmonary emergencies

• stroke and cardiac arrest 

Course Cost: $95.00.

If you are registering for an AHA BLS CPR certification class, please review the following carefully:

✅ First-Time Students (Original)

If this is your first time taking the class, you are required to purchase the 2020 AHA BLS Provider Manual or eBook.
This is the current and only accepted edition.

🔄 Renewal Students

If you are renewing your certification and still have your 2020 AHA BLS book, you do not need to purchase a new one.
✅ Please bring your 2020 book to class.

If you cannot find your book, you will be required to purchase a new 2020 AHA BLS book or eBook before class.

⏰ Expired Certification Cards

All AHA certification cards expire at the end of the expiration month, regardless of the date listed on the card.
If your card has expired, the AHA requires you to register as an original student.  AHA guidelines. 

If you still have your 2020 AHA BLS book, you may use it.
If you no longer have your book, you must purchase a new one before attending class.

• ❌ If you don’t have your book — you must purchase a new 2020 book or eBook.

• 📖 The 2020 edition is the current and required version by AHA.

• ⏳ Expired card? Register as original, and follow the same book rules.

• 🗓️ All cards expire at the end of the month, regardless of the printed date.
